In a nutshell, I am a tech-head.
I started out by putting together family videos as a kid. Once I realized I could turn it into more than just a hobby, I started a editing service called Lens Flare Videos. I worked with several friends-of-friends, documenting events like birthdays and parties. I then helped found an online community for gaming during my teenage gamer years, playing the web admin, and creating a sizable and elegant forum-driven website.
The fun began when the needs of the community site gave me tremendous motivation to crack open the expansive world of web development. Fast forward to now, and I am now learned in front-end markup plus back-end programming. I don’t just develop websites for a living, I do it because it’s rewarding and exciting. The internet is dynamic. Every day, new technologies and techniques spring up, developed by geeks like me around the world. That’s why I love it.
